Our story
The Redd Dog Brewing Co. is a true family gig, started by Lane and Jamie Scelzi and their sons Nolan Scelzi and Harrison Reed. We’ve all spent our lives in restaurants, so hospitality runs deep around here. Beer just felt like the next adventure - and now we’re all in.
Brewing with Purpose
Our head brewer, Nolan, along side his brother, Harrison, are leading the charge with a passion for European beers and classic brewing styles. Here it’s all about creativity, quality, and a little experimentation - because good beer should be fun.
The Food
We take our food just as seriously as our beer. Chef Silver Moreno runs the kitchen, turning out elevated Mexican street food that pairs perfectly with what’s in your glass. Everything’s scratch-made, fresh, and full of flavor. And yes - there are always fresh limes and tequila nearby to sip with your brews.
The Space
We built this place to be comfortable, laid-back, and full of life - a spot to eat, drink, play, and hang. Inside, the taproom is cozy and moody with warm tones and chill vibes. Outside, our biergarten has plenty of room to kick back with your crew. Picture covered seating, fire pits, turf lawn, and sunshine - perfect for long Tacoma summers, kids, or your four-legged friends. Whether you’re grabbing a four-pack to go or hanging all afternoon, you’re welcome here.

And of course, there’s Redd - our friendly lab and the OG Redd Dog himself. You might spot him lounging by the door or cruising around in his red truck. Either way, he’s always down to say hi. We’re proud to be part of Tacoma’s beer community and even prouder to call this neighborhood home. Come grab a pint, a taco, and good company - we’ll take care of the rest.
